NYC SharePoint Developer Needed

posted Mon 12 May 08

Are you one of those people who, regardless of what question you might be asked, can always reply with, “Yeah, you can do that with a custom list”? Instead of dreaming in color, or dreaming about having super-hero powers, do you dream in CAML? Did you miss your own wedding because you had “a few more changes” to make to that kick-ass site template you were working on? If so, then we want YOU!

If you love New York City and arenʼt afraid of eating something called “street meat” and you consider yourself an awesome SharePoint programmer, then youʼre just the person weʼre looking for.

Weʼre looking for an experienced SharePoint programmer that can build custom web parts, create site templates, write event triggers, work with CAML, as well as work with SharePointʼs workflow system. Here are some of the pre-requisites for the job:

  • Your code must not suck (seriously - we check these things...)
  • Experienced with ASP.NET, including developing for large-scale applications
  • Experience with SharePoint Web Parts, Web Services, SharePoint Designer, custom site templates, custom applications (including Master Pages)
  • Experience with SharePointʼs workflow, though generic Workflow Foundation experience is great too
  • Team Player*

Some perks of the job:
  • You too can work just blocks away from the Naked Cowboy
  • Great location in Manhattan
  • You just might be involved in some of the most creative hazing rituals Manhattan has ever seen.
  • You will be able to work so close to the .NET Addict that you can smell him. No folks, thatʼs not the stench of body odor, that is the aroma of genius. Honest. Seriously, Iʼm not making that up.

*= Note that Team Player here doesnʼt refer to being skilled in blaming other team

members for your own sucky code.

So, if you think youʼve got what it takes, let me know how to get in touch with you (you

can send me a private mail through the blog).
