So, there's roughly four hours between now and when I get to see the Transformers movie. I realize that I'm not a true hardcore geek because I didn't go to one of last night's midnight showings and I wasn't invited to attend a pre-screening at a Transformers convention... but I'm pretty damn excited about this movie.
Given that all I want is to spend two hours watching robots rip each other to shreds while billions of dollars of damage is done to the Earth as collateral damage - it's going to be pretty hard to dissappoint me. About the only thing the movie could do wrong is attempt to spend too much time on character development... which really has no business in a Transformers movie :)
