Just checked the Amazon.com page for SharePoint 2007 Development Unleashed. Looks like we're at rank 7,200 today! I don't know much about how Amazon.com figures out these rankings, but the book I just finished reading on the train into work this morning, Academ's Fury, by Jim Butcher, had a sales rank of 6,000 this morning. The fact that our SharePoint book is only a thousand or so points off of a USA today bestselling novel by the author of the Dresden Files is a huge win for me.
I want to thank everyone who has pre-ordered our SharePoint Development book, and of course, encourage everyone who hasn't to rush out and pre-order it so that you'll have it the split second it hits the shelves! :)
Hi Kevin,
Just posting a comment here as a workaround to creating an account, the

Neal - there was a problem with the code download in that the numbers of
the chapters labelled in the ZIP files are not always the same as the
corresponding chapters. I don't have the stuff with me, but if you check
the code for other chapters, you may find the code for the ASP.NET provider
chapter in there. There was a mess-up in that the code I supplied during
draft 1 was mixed with final code, resulting in final code using draft
chapter numbers.
Neal, I'm looking into this. I need to find the hard drive I was using when
I wrote that book :) It's been quite a while since I've spent the last year
working on SharePoint stuff, not C# 2005.
