I'm not normally one to toot my own horn, I prefer to stay behind the scenes. I've always been that way and I like making things work without having to stand around taking credit for it. However, I'm also not one to deny credit for things that I have done.
One of things that I did with Rob Foster was write SharePoint 2007 Development Unleashed. I think it's a unique book in that it provides (what I think is) one of the most complete coverages from end to end of SharePoint 2007 programming topics available today. So I was pretty pleased when I saw our book featured on the endcap with the likes of the WPF Unleashed book, Powershell Unleashed, and a couple other pretty popular books.
The thing that makes me pretty excited about this is that in the six years that I have been writing .NET books, and of all of the 15 books that I have authored or co-authored, this is the first time one of my books has shown up in one of the prestigious endcap positions! Kudos to Rob too, he and I busted our butts getting that book written!
Congrats! Will be looking out for it ... though, assuming it could take a
while to reach New Zealand ...
I'm not able to comment on the possibility of future Cocoa writings at this
moment :)
Read into that what you will...
