Good to hear some people are having some good experiences on the tablet end
of things. For me, I'm missing tablet and audio support. Without
recognizing the pen, I'm pretty much forced to revert to XP. Using the
"compatibility" features I got the XP tablet pen drivers to install but
that had no effect. My experience on the desktop has been solid though. My
hardware is all high-end brand name gear though so it'd be very painful if
that wasn't working at this point. Still, I want to see support for the
gateway CX200 tablet. Porting XP drivers to vista can't be that hard..
You can get the updated NVidia driver for a tablet with rotation support
(for vista) from laptopvideo2go.com complete with INF files. The Realtek
site has the Vista beta AC97 audo driver. :) Good luck.
I had a similar experience with Acer travelmate c310. Have all working
well, downloaded the acer buttons to rotate. However, I have no bluetooth
and my wireless connections drop constantly. Any advice...?
I am unable to get any usb devices to work with the EZDock and the
Travelmate C310. Anyone have this experience?
Just loaded Vista RC1 onto my Acer C310. It's a great improvment from Beta
2 and the overall experience with Vista and Office 2007 is quite pleasing.
Need to get my paws on OneNote 2007 still.
ok, i installed "Launcher" removed everything from autostart because anyway
it doesnt start. i manually start "HotkeyApp" and "WButton" (i set
compatibility to "Windows XP SP2" and "Run as administrator" but still have
to click "Allow" each start). Now bluetooth button is working but only once
:). if i press it second time i get BSOD :)))). But at least it's enough to
turn bluetooth on. Then i install Broadcom driver 5.0.1.3200 ( i found one
for Lenovo laptops). I think you can find it in google using version number
as the key.
Also there is no problem with tabletpc buttons. I installed software from
Acer's cd with drivers and it works without problem
